Abstract

Fast changes in the contemporary world present both opportunities and challenges. Some challenges to human security, such as large-scale wars with crimes against civilians and the use of illegal weapons, are more dangerous than ever in human history. However, the fast development of science and technology provides many opportunities to overcome these challenges and create a future sustainable knowledge society. Some guidelines for creative solutions are presented that can stop the current unsustainable patterns and lead toward an attractive vision of sustainable abundance for all.
